Currently the Clue Text Search uses all words together as a phrase (e.g. "pirate bird" would return only clues with these words together). I suggest adding option to find clues with "or" (e.g. "pirate" or "bird" would return clues with either of these words in the text) and "and" (e.g. "pirate" and "bird" would return clues with both of these words somewhere in the text not necessarily next to each other).

Added option on clue text search to match Exact Phrase (previous behavior), Any Words, or All Words.
Currently, most clue owners do not use the Change Status page to mark their clues missing or retired. I think that many just don't know that it exists.9 votes
Clue owners see Clue Status with a drop list selection to quickly set status of OK, Unknown, Missing, or Retired.
Currently, you have to find the clue page and click the status button to record a find. Then you have to find the next clue page and so on. It would be nice to record multiple finds/attempts from one page.22 votes

Once the basket is put together, if I assigned updated addresses to each, it would be good to be able to hit a feature that maps the basket items.3 votes

It appears that a dump database of letterboxing.org usernames & passwords has been posted some time ago on the internet at https://a.pomf.cat/bxtvex.txt

Done, but not everyone received email because LbNA is not a trusted mailer. Also posted a notice on the home page for two months.
Members should be able to put a clue in a "basket" and later view the list in the basket and print the entire contents of the basket as one long document so that you save paper37 votes

Suggested format "61 191729, -149 814101" to mean N61.191729 deg W-149.814101 deg2 votes
When searching by location, you can use GPS coordinates if you use the latitude and longitude numbers as degrees (not degrees and minutes). For example: 42.6822, -71.1393 or 42 6822 -71 1393

Sometimes you know the name of the box and you want to go to it quickly, for example to record that you found (or attempted) a box. The search should match with a partial name entered, as the main letterbox search page does. Results should be standard.8 votes
This was completed some time ago on the new style home page. The results match the name and show the standard results. Archived clues matching the name entered are included.

Added button to delete a clue on clue page (BoxView) with warning that they might rather want to change the status to Missing or Retired.

Suggestions for handling clues that are restricted to logged in members:
1) if someone uses a direct link to the clue while not logged into LbNA, show a message that the clue is restricted to logged in members.
2) if someone searches for the LbNA# for a restricted clue while not logged into LbNA, show a message that the clue is restricted.1 vote
I’ve decided to only do part 1. If you try to view a restricted clue (e.g. via a link on AQ) you will see an error explaining that you need to sign up and login to view the clue.
When you click the "Nearby" button on a clue page, it should include that clue at or near the top of the list of results. Currently it is not included.1 vote
The original clue is now included in the Nearby results list.
I know that some people choose to have the finds, attempts, and comments on their boxes hidden. However, when an owner is no longer actively participating in letterboxing and cannot be counted on to update clues as needed, I feel that this is an important step in assuring that old letterbox clues stay up to date when landmarks change. By allowing finds and comments to become visible, other LBers can leave notes advising of changes that they noticed when looking for the box. I just went to Colorado and looked for some old letterboxes. I am very concerned that old letterboxes whose owners no longer letterbox are going to end up becoming TRASH because no one can find them any more. Landmarks do change.

Comments will now show for all clue owners that haven’t logged in within the past year.
You can now delete unwanted comments from your clues by clicking a red X.

Added sort by letterbox name to the list.
